Sunny Side Inclusive Beauty is an inclusive beauty studio in Brisbane/Meanjin, run by Zoe Burmester (that's me!)

My goal is to create a safe, inclusive studio that's not just about beauty, but about affirmation. I want to help you feel like the best you.

For now, Sunny Side is all about brows and lashes. I started there because an eyebrow lamination and tint, along with a lash lift, was the first 'beauty treatment' I got when I started affirming my gender in 2020, and I was completely blown away by the effect it had on my confidence and sense of self (also, it made my face cool and pretty).

I want to be able to do that for others. For you!

I'll be expanding my services to include skin and more — ultimately, I want to be a one-stop shop for beauty, gender affirmation, and everything in between.

More info Do you want to look and feel more feminine, but you're not sure what that means for your brows and lashes, or what's involved? This is the option for you.

This is a great option if you've never had a brow or lash service before and are not sure where to start, or if you just want to find out more about your options in a quiet, comfortable environment.

This option is also perfect if you've never had your brows done before, but want to dive straight into the darkest, archest, fluffiest, femmest brows ever!

We'll have a chat about what you're considering, what you want, and what you're comfortable with. I can explain options, discuss specifics, and we can go from there.

Prices vary depending on what we end up doing, but will fall between $30 for consult and advice alone, up to around $160 for a full lash lift + tint and a brow lamination + tint.

Lash Lift and Tint

More info A lash lift gently curls and sets your lashes, giving you the vivacious eyes of your dreams with minimal upkeep.

If you wear mascara every day, want to femme up your look, or just want a change, a lash lift can be a dramatic and affirming choice.

A lift and tint lasts as long as your natural lashes do - generally around six to eight weeks.

I use Elleebana's Profusion system, which is gentle and totally vegan.

Note that you must keep your lashes dry for at least 24 hours after this service. Please arrive without eye makeup and/or mascara for this service. View less

Brow Sculpt, Lamination and Tint

We will:
- measure and map your brows to your specifications
- laminate your brows to set them how you want them
- shape your brows with waxing, tweezing and/or trimming
- gently tint your brows, which will last a few days on the skin and a few weeks on the brow hairs
- finish with a calming skin treatment and nourishing brow treatment

Lamination is great for taming unruly brows, creating the full, fluffy, popping brows of your dreams, and anywhere in between. It can help fill in thin or patchy brows, or just save you some styling time in the morning.

Get the power brows of your dreams, cover greys, define a new brow shape, or whatever you feel like!

Note that we recommend at least four weeks between lamination treatments.

Next, I'll shape them with waxing, tweezing, and/or trimming, and finally apply a tint, which lasts a few days on the skin and a few weeks on the brow hairs.

Meanwhile, I'll curl and set your lashes and apply a tint, for lush, open, beautiful eyes.

Finally, a calming skin treatment, Brow Gold keratin treatment, and hydrating lash treatment leaves your brows and lashes nourished and refreshed.
